Mamma Mia is set to dance back onto the Nottingham Royal Concert Hall stage from April 12 to 23
Smash-hit feel-good musical Mamma Mia is set to dance back onto the Nottingham stage, bringing sunshine, drama and romance.
It is at the Royal Concert Hall from Tuesday to Saturday, April 23.
It is the comedy tale of a mother, a daughter and three possible dads on a Greek island idyll — all unfolding to the magic of ABBA’s timeless songs.
Judy Craymer, creator and producer, said “I’m really excited that Mamma Mia! will be touring the UK once again. We can’t wait to bring the feel-good story and much-loved music of ABBA to new and returning audiences across the country.”
The new UK Tour celebrates 22 years since Mamma Mia! premiered in London in April 1999.
It has been since been seen by more than 65m people in 50 productions in 16 languages.
Since premiering in London’s West End the smash-hit musical has been turned into two record-breaking movies — Mamma Mia! The Movie and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.
Mamma Mia! The Movie was the highest grossing live action musical film of all time on its release in 2008. Its sequel was released in 2018.
