Jeremy Dyson and Andy Nyman’s long-running West End hit Ghost Stories to visit Theatre Royal, Nottingham

A spine-tingling cult phenomenon is heading to town as part of its first full national tour.

Jeremy Dyson and Andy Nyman’s Ghost Stories will visit the Theatre Royal, Nottingham, from Tuesday, April 19, to Saturday, May 3.

Professor Goodman, an arch-sceptic out to debunk the paranormal, finds himself at the outer limits of rationality as he embarks on an investigation of three apparent hauntings — as recounted by a night-watchman, a teenage boy, and a businessman awaiting his first child.

The show is unsuitable for anyone under the age of 15 due to moments of extreme shock and tension, and those of a nervous disposition are advised to think very seriously before attending.

It has exhilarated audiences for two years in the West End, and across the world, with record breaking, sell-out productions and a smash hit film.

More spine-tingling and fantastically terrifying than ever, it stars Dan Tetsell (Rivals, Disney+) as Professor Goodman, David Cardy (Birds of a Feather, ITV) as Tony Matthews, Clive Mantle (Casualty, BBC) as Mike Priddle, Eddie Loodmer-Elliott (Modi: Three Days on the Wing of Madness) as Simon Rifkind, with Lucas Albion and Simon Bass as understudies.
