Newark’s Steve Steinman sizzles with Anything For Love – The Meat Loaf Story - It’s all About the Music! tour at The Palace Theatre

Like a Bat out of Hell, Newark’s Steve Steinman burst onto the stage for a show that was paradise by The Palace light.

The seasoned showman brought a high-energy, high-tempo performance to his home town theatre with the Anything For Love – The Meat Loaf Story - It’s all About the Music! tour.

The audience relished in renditions of Heaven Can Wait, Bat out of Hell, You took the words right out of My Mouth and Paradise by the Dashboard Light.

Steinman rolled back the years to the heady days of the late, great, Meat Loaf who sadly died from covid in January of 2022.

As much as he rocked, his band were fantastic and never let the energy levels drop on what was an incredibly hot night inside the Palace.

All must have been exhausted by the show’s end.

The light show, raging fire and the sets were something to behold, as were the duets, the solos of and each of the musicians.

Steinman was celebrating 30 years of touring and will take a break soon for knee-replacement sugery, but fans needn’t worry as he’ll be choreographing a show for his extremely able backing group before returning himself.

His fans will miss him, but also be glad the show goes on.

They sang along, cheered their hearts out and were on their feet whenever the moment required.

A hugely fun night that did the memory of Meat Loaf proud – DC
