Everybody Dance starring Steps’ Claire Richards comes to Nottingham
A glittering new concert tour show, featuring Steps superstar Claire Richards leading the ultimate dance floor party, is heading to Nottingham.
This autumn will see the mirrorball spinning fast as Everybody Dance takes to the stage at venues across the UK with hits spanning the 70s, 80s, 90s and beyond.
It will call at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall on November 2.
Claire said: “I'm excited to perform across the UK this Autumn in a brand-new show featuring everyone’s favourite dance and disco classics and modern hits. These iconic songs span the decades, from the 70s until today. I can't wait to see you all glammed up ready for the ultimate night out later this year.”
Audiences will be invited to join the party by singing and dancing in their seats, as a sensational company of dancers — in styles including salsa, mambo, jazz, hip hop and even rollerskating — and vocalists join pop royalty to create a night of disco perfection.
From Donna Summer to Dua Lipa, Beyonce, Chic, Chaka Kahn, The Weekend, Whitney, Cher, ABBA, Daft Punk and many more, iconic songs audiences can expect to hear include I Will Survive, Don’t Start Now, You Should Be Dancing, Le Freak, Lady Marmalade, Everybody’s Free, On The Radio, Euphoria, No More Tears (Enough Is Enough), Could It Be Magic, So Emotional, What A Feeling, Only Girl In The World, and many more.
Creative director Stuart Glover added: “This show celebrates the evolution of dance and disco music with something for all generations to enjoy. We have a multitalented cast lined up and some surprises in store. Claire is a real national treasure and her sensational voice brings this iconic music to life in a new way.”
