Olympic gymnast Louis Smith stars in Snow White pantomime at New Theatre Royal, Lincoln




Lincoln’s longest running traditional pantomime is back for 2024 - this time bringing the fairest panto of them all.

Snow White runs at the New Theatre Royal from December 6 to January 5, promising a stunning set, colourful costumes, huge dance routines, great vocals, and perfect comedic timing.

Olympic gymnast medallist and winner of Strictly Come Dancing and ITV's The Masked Dancer, Louis Smith stars as the heroic Huntsman.

He said: “I'm thrilled to be back! I had an incredible experience doing panto last year, and Lincoln was so warm and welcoming. The audiences were fantastic, making my first panto experience truly unforgettable.

“Lincoln has become my second home, and I can’t wait to dive back in, meet the new cast, and this time, play the good guy! Being the baddie was a lot of fun, and I got up to plenty of mischief, but now I’m ready to protect those in need.”

Joining him is TV Personality, Amelia Lily, who returns as the Wicked Queen after becoming the villainess sea witch in this year's Easter production in Lincoln as Ursula.

And stand-up comedian Patrick Monahan makes his return to the New Theatre Royal stage as Snow White's loyal companion Muddles.

There will be signed and relaxed performance on Sunday, December 8, at 1.30pm.

A a trained British Signed Language (BSL) interpreter will be in a visible position on the side of the stage, who will interpret the spoken and heard elements of the pantomime.

The performance will also be relaxed, which is aimed at parents with babies and pre-school children, and anyone with an autism spectrum condition, sensory and communication disorder, or a learning disability. The overall sound is reduced by 25%, auditorium lights are up by 25%, and we will not use loud bangs, pyrotechnics or strobe lighting.
