Newark Air Museum to host outdoor aeroboot aviation and avionics sale on Saturday, April 12, at Winthorpe site

A museum will hold a specialist outdoor sale event this weekend to raise help funds for its facilities.

On Saturday (April 12), from 9am to 2pm, Newark Air Museum will be hosting its popular outdoor “aeroboot” sale at the museum’s site in Winthorpe.

Hobbyists and aviation enthusiasts will be able to browse more than 35 sellers, and search through a varied selection of aviation and avionic items, including; books, paintings, prints, DVDs, plastic kits, die-cast models, clothing, radio equipment and a wide range of aircraft parts.

The standalone event has attracted interest from across the UK and funds raised by organising the event will be used by the museum to support the development of on site facilities.

Entry to the event will require the purchase of a standard museum ticket, which will also provide access to the large collection of over 70 aircraft types spread across multiple hangars, buildings and and outdoor space.

The museum will be open from 9a to 5pm, and organisers recommended arriving early to find the best bargains at the aeroboot sale.
