Day of action to make Boughton cleaner, safer, and greener organised by Newark and Sherwood District Council and graffiti project by Imageskool




A village will hold a day of action tomorrow with the aim of becoming cleaner, safer, and greener as well as running a community art project.

Newark and Sherwood District Council organised the day of action which will take place in Boughton from 10am tomorrow (Thursday).

At 11am Imageskool will be working on a new graffiti project which residents can help create.

There will also be an information hub open from 10am with various stalls set up for residents to chat about topics such as health advice, community safety, cost of living, responsible dog ownership and alcohol targeted support.

Other activities taking place include litter-picking, play support activities, installations of new bins and a new community notice board.
