Nottinghamshire Police warning about parcel thieves targetting Christmas gift deliveries

Residents are being encouraged to think more carefully about having items delivered in the run up to Christmas.

Nottinghamshire Police are have issued a warning that parcels could be an easy target for thieves when left out in the cold with no one home to accept them.

The police have advised that either the person expecting a parcel or a family member should be at home and ready to accept a delivery.

Alternatively, it can be requested that orders are delivered to a trusted neighbour.
