Dreamscapes exhibition of limited edition photographs from Newark photographer Anette Holt at Gallery 6

A series of limited edition photographs will go on show next week in a Dreamscapes exhibition.

Dreamscapes is a series of works by Newark-based photographer Anette Holt, which will be held at Gallery 6 on Stodman Steet in the town.

Anette’s work has an other-worldly feel to it, exploring the in-between space, where illusion and the real world mix.

She achieved this effect with the use of various photographic techniques such as multiple exposure photography and compositing.

The viewer is invited to project their own thoughts, ideas, wishes, aspirations, memories and longings onto the images.

A special preview evening will be held at the gallery next Wednesday (October 12) where the public will be able to browse and meet with Anette to discuss her work while enjoying a glass of wine and live jazz music from Arthur Tyers.

The exhibition will run until October 29 and all works, including the various print sizes are available to purchase through Gallery 6.
