Readers’ Letters: Link road is a waste of money

I personally think the southern relief road is the biggest waste of money, again, in cost of constructing this road.

Just count up the amount of roundabouts between one end and the other. If I was an HGV driver, I would find it easier to go through Newark, or take the A46 to Brownhills Roundabout, as there is no way I would attempt to drive round all those roundabouts on the new road with a 40 ton artic. — P.
