Start off the new year by protecting your bike with help from the police.
Newark Police have teamed up with Active4Today and to run two free bike security marking sessions, which helps with identification if a bike is stolen.
The events will be held at the Newark Sports and Fitness Centre, Lord Hawke Way, on Wednesday, January 3, from 10am to 2pm and on Sunday, January 21, from 10am to 2pm.
Officers will be on hand to mark bikes for free and offer advice on keeping it secure at home and when out and about.
So if you recently bought or were gifted a new bike for Christmas or already own one that you’d like to help protect, drop in to one of the sessions.
