Traffic delays likely as Severn Trent carried out roadworks to repair burst water pipe on Beacon Hill Road, Newark




Work has started on repairs to a burst water pipe on Beacon Hill Road, Newark.

Two lanes are closed and temporary four-way traffic lights have been put in place to control the flow of traffic, adding delays to some journeys.

Road users are advised to allow extra time when travelling or avoid the area at peak times.

The works are being carried out by Severn Trent Water to repair a burst water pipe which residents had reported and complained about for several weeks.

The roadworks are scheduled to end tomorrow afternoon (January 12) at 4pm
