AA report traffic delays on several major roads including A1, A46, A52 and A6097

There are traffic delays on several major roads this morning.

Traffic is building on the A1 northbound between B1174 (Grantham South / Little Ponton Junction) and A52 (Grantham North / Barrowby Turn Off) with severe delays of 16 minutes and increasing, with cars moving at and average speed of five mph.

There are also delays of over six minutes on A6097 southbound between Ton Lane and East Bridgford Road and an average speed of ten mph.

Delays of roughly five minutes are building on A52 Grantham Road Westbound in Nottinghamshire, with an average speed 15 mph.

There a minor delays of two to five minutes minutes just north of Newark on the A46 southbound, with an average speed 20mph.
