Ollerton and Boughton Scarecrow Festival 2022 to take place this weekend
Fun and frights will be on display when a village's scarecrow festival returns this weekend.
The eighth annual Ollerton and Boughton scarecrow festival is set to take place on Saturday, October 15.
Last year's festival saw some creative entries, from a samurai scarecrow and a bowler on the bowling green to a pumpkin headed mother and child.
Scarecrows at the 2022 festival will be judged by the town mayor, but residents must submit an application for in advance so that their creations can be located for the competition.
The winners will be announced on the Ollerton and Boughton Town Council website and social media pages.
Those looking to enter into this year's competition can do so up until the cut off at 2pm on Thursday October 13.
