Newark and Sherwood Concert Band to take Newark Palace Theatre audience on a musical journey through time on October 12

Newark and Sherwood Concert Band are inviting an audience to embark on a musical journey through time with them.

This Saturday, Newark Palace Theatre will play host to an evening of high-class entertainment featuring the music of some of history’s most beloved artists.

The show starts at 7.30pm and will feature songs by the likes of John Philip Sousa, Frank Sinatra, Leonard Bernstein, Queen, Karl Jenkins, and Amy Winehouse.

The concert band boasts over 60 wind instrument playing members, and say they take their music seriously, but with an emphasis on having fun.

Tickets are available to buy online at £13.50 for adults and £6.50 for children through the Palace Theatre website.
