Comedy returns to the Thanal Restaurant, Newark, on Thursday, April 14, with a three-course menu of comics, courtesy of the Magners Funhouse Comedy.

This month’s headliner is the larger-than-life Bradford comic, Ben Schofield.

A regular at all the big national clubs, Ben’s humour ranges from silly voices to impersonations, topical stories to warm-hearted tales of his childhood.

The BBC described his act as “a sure winner with the crowd..a set of brilliant stand-up comedy.”

Support comes from an up-and-coming star of the Scottish comedy scene, Bruce Fummey. Bruce is a beguiling storyteller and tells cracking jokes too.

The show will be compered by Leicester’s Alan Seaman.

Tickets are £5 in advance. Anyone booking a meal before the show receives free admission to the comedy.
