A46 bypass re-opens after car fire causes delays

A car fire has caused delays on the A46 bypass near the Cattle Market roundabout.

Highways England have reported that there are currently delays of 15 minutes against expected traffic.

Firefighters from Newark were called to the incident on Kelham Road at 12.28pm today (Thursday).

They used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and used breathing apparatus and breaking-in gear during the incident.
