A lorry fire on the A46 near Flintham is causing long delays

The A46 is currently blocked in both directions due to a lorry on fire.

There is stationary traffic and smoke blowing across the road both ways from the Screveton turn-off up to the Flintham Cricket Club turn-off.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue have confirmed that no-one has been injured in the incident.

Nottinghamshire Police and fire services are currently in attendance.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible.
